If there are only 5 qualifying events for the River series to make the championship, would you transfer points scored in the lake series division to the river division in terms of best 5? Or get rid of the pro-am idea and have regular tournaments? Maybe I'm in the dark, but it seems that the river is already served quite well in that area with pro-am events with the BFLs and B.A.S.S./ABA weekend series?

Mike, one Pro and one Am only in the boat. Pro's entry is $200.00 entry and the Am is $100.00 entry. 5 fish limit for each angler. Pro's fish will only count on the pro's side of the tournament and the Am's will go agents the other Am's. so it's two tournaments in one. Also if there is pro's without Am's and there is A'm s with out boats, drawing will be to see where they are matched with boaters.

L2F, We might do this in 2011, Anglers wanted more opens and a pro/am on the river.And to play for more cash. So not to burden the members the entries reflect higher to the Opens and a little less for the series as asked to be the same as the lake series(promises kept)

Joe, I know its a no-win situation. However, showing a tentative schedule that included 8 points events and then not being able to arrange that is disappointing. The calender favors the lake guys as well. They fish later.
Did the DNR say river events were cut off at a certain date? I was really looking forward to the eight events on the river and fishing into October.
Seriously considering jumping back to the lake series.

Don't worry Mike The River series has the last tournament of the year 2010. Even though it might end up on pool 19 or where ever that's the Tournament of Champions and that is only up for discussion after July's tournaments on the river and only by the TOP 2 places in points in both Divisions, will decide date and Venue on the river .
