As the Form says, Based on 100 boat field.I will not cash any entry checks till after April 1st. The deadline for the 50 boat min.At that time April 1st the tournament will ether be a Go or a No go. EVERY entry will have the right to ether fish the tournament with the 50 boats? Or get there check RETURNED to them intact. But if we do get 100 boats or more, You better strap on your A game as it will be a chore to collect the 10,000 + Cash. So send in your checks and get into a Free Motel room and the starting spots and the Flight order of your choice! As these bonuses are based on the post mark of your entry!

As the boat count is looking to be short of the 50 boat min.I have had a flood of calls from anglers wanting to hold tournament with who ever wants to fish that has entered. So we will do just that, but every one will still have the choice to fish or not to fish and get a refund April 1st.As of today we have 18 teams entered. the payoff will be $3,500 for 1st, $1,500 for second, $1,000 for 3rd. and big bass would be $300.00. 12 days to enter, to beat the deadline.the Director

You may want to think about letting people sign up right to the day of the tournament to increase participation. My partner said he will fish it for sure if you let people sign up after April 1.

This is one thing that we were thinking about for the next Open tournament if there would of been even close to a full field for this Open. But as we have seen with the Lake series in 2008 that if you get a little weather the day before the tournament the only teams that fish are the ones in the hunt for the point fund.Or if they have a bad day on practice day they go home on tournament day.Or if they decide to show up on tournament morning and only have a check, then I need to bring a grand or so to cover there entries? As we only payout in cash! If your partner or anyone wants to post date a check for the Tuesday the 14th before the tournament,That is the date I'm going to the bank to deposit the entries at hand. But what it is ,is what it is after April 1st. The Director

I hear you director. Many people aren't really into fishin tourney day if they aren't on em' etc. However, we are already in your tournament. The problem is my partner is wishy washy about fishin in a field of only 25 boats because we have the KFAN 2 weeks later for pretty good cash and so he wants to concentrate on that. I just wanted to give him more reason to say we will still fish the Hawgz tourney because it could be a 30-40 boat field. He said it needs to be either 30 boats by April 1st for us to fish or 25 boats and late sign up ok.
OK there is an update to the pre registration for the tournament. We are sorry if this offends anyone that pre- registered as the original deadlines were put in place. We have had numerous requests to allow teams to pay at the ramp the day of the event. So we have decided to allow teams to pay up till Saturday evening the 18th of APRIL. which will be the Pre-tournament meeting. This will be held at the ramp in Harpers Ferry at 4:00pm. This will be allowed only by payment of "CASH ONLY" after April-1-09, + a late fee charge of $25. THANKS from the Directors, Joe and Brook.
